OUR GODS - Solving the differences between religions
Levels of God perception: Humans desire to perceive our Creator in at least three levels. The first level is the formless creator which Islamic/Sikh etc. thought process strongly advocate; the second level being the Human form which the Christ consciousness promotes and the third level being the multiform or the combined God forms which the Hindus prefer.
Facts: The first perception process is the whole truth, but it is difficult to execute on ground because since humans are a visible form with limited mental capacities, we cannot pray to a ‘vacant’ or ‘zero’ space. This is continuously visible in the constant reference to Prophet Mohammed and Gurus to justify the religious tidings. In fact the moment we develop this perception you will really become one with God. However as a human this is almost impossible
even towards the dying days of our life on earth.
The human form with mystical powers as advocated by the ‘Christ consciousness’ is perhaps the easiest and non troublesome for humans to perceive. Our Creator also realises this and so at present he is concentrating his quick feedbacks in this perception. If you think of Christ or just one human figure God for a little time, the connection is almost immediate and in months you can become aware of this connection. However even when you in direct communication, our inordinate endless questions, except for some future predictions of my neighbour and friends, would not be answered since we lack the consciousness and mental prowess to understand them. For e.g. You ask the age old fundamental question, ‘where does the universal space extend end, and if it ends what is beyond that?

The third level, the Hindu level is perhaps the most wholesome combining God with your present being on the Earth, where in human forms and natures’ animal and plant life are woven into a mystical combination to awe the common man and instil a feel of thrill in ‘life’ itself. Here the assimilation of God in one single thought is possible but is a tough task, unless we understand its true nature. This requires a lot of dedicated time for integrating all the thoughts conveyed by the quagmire. However every single Hindu is consumed by the mysticism it provides and the final realisation of the multi various aspects of the life force, the God in all things. By this time he would have controlled his earthly attachments and his understanding will reach a high plane wherein he communicates with the Creator in a sublime and deeply conscious manner.
If you ask me on a personal note, as to which I prefer, I would prefer the Hindu consciousness. Perceiving God in a vacant space is beyond my perceptive powers. Perhaps this is one reason why the people following this concept have lower tolerance levels, what with years of concentration, their minds tire out and accept any kind of life logics put up by equally tired minds. Perceiving God so easily in the Christ consciousness is too drab for me, since I know that even in quick communication with him, I would lack communication due to my undeveloped sense of creative understanding, and also because after my death I will anyway meet him . Perceiving God as an awesome mystical enigma in the context of my earth being in greatly decorated stories of Gods and Goddesses, flying angelic horses and living among differently powered animals and plants is what appeals to me the most. The depth of mysticism humans desire is evident from the fact that people like to read about intelligent hooded snakes, life embedded in stones or trees or imagine creatures with powers beyond our experience. Every other Hindu temple, which in themselves do not follow any similar structural or material designs, holds some evidence of mysteries with a story to tell, which keeps you thinking and investigating more of earth, for days. He seeks an experience of everything that is connected with the earth. Within these contemplations he continually feels the mysticism of God and earth and starts to understand the concept of life in this world. Through this concept he realises the dimensions of the unmeasurable aspects of Gods’ being. Moreover the images of Gods are manipulated in such a way as to create awareness (talking images). for eg. the Hindu God Ganapati 'the God of Wisdom' with a elephant head and a pot belly is meant to convey that whatsoever be your looks 'wisdom' in a human is the most important factor. It would take a long time to read text and understand this one aspect of life. In fact this concept indirectlly, with depictions of rather bizarre imaginations of life akin to the Greek God depictions, prepares you for the various life forms which are sure to come in faster with the human gene manipulation technologies. So, without a shred of doubt, I would prefer the Hindu perception.
However the best would be to encumber all the three so that we can partake of all the advantages provided by each of these perspective concepts. If we do this, then we could totally concentrate on a work with the second level concept, be flexible and tolerant with the third level concept and be consumed by Gods being at the fag end of our life by the first level.
Note: I have tried for years to grow in with the last para and I think during the last three years I have seen a clear progress. However I am not yet ready to forego of my earthly sensations and tribulations and am presently trying to create a subtle balance between the two.
